1mb speed... and only 12GB? I always thought Aus internet was cheaper... I pay $50 a month with 7.6 mb speed (even though it seems like they're bullshitting us) and unlimited usage. >_>

Mines 9.9MBs and i have a 7GB plan. But Optus has this 'Off Peak' feature that allows me 14GB of free download from 12am - 12pm.

Telecom is crap.... 7.6mbs HA! what bullshit... Telecom are a bunch of lying power hungry thieves that give you shit net for a high cost. Face it NZ net is shit the telephone cables are millions of years old only support ADSL 1 (7.6mbs) The line stabablity is arse. Connection time outs happen on regular occasions. Pings go through the roof when some one is casualy browsing the web. Download speeds hit 500kb MAX (7.6mbs plan) Bascially the people you can blame are the goverment who sold telecom the local loop those years ago... (probably labour) And also that "Go Large" plan What a Joke...
